As Product Developer for Burberry’s ties and bow ties, I oversee the development of this category from concept to finished product. Working with both UK and Italian vendors, I focus on the use of fine mulberry silk as the foundation of the collection. Each project requires balancing heritage craftsmanship with modern luxury standards, ensuring consistency in quality, hand-feel, and finish across the product range. Collaboration is central to the process: I work closely with product engineers to refine construction techniques and with graphic designers to translate artwork into refined woven and printed motifs that align with Burberry’s seasonal collections.
